As part of a month of events commemorating the 50th anniversary of the 1969 Santa Barbara oil spill, join Mellon Sawyer Seminar Artist in Residence Brenda Longfellow for an artist talk co-organized by the Santa Barbara Public Library and The Squire Foundation. Longfellow will speak about her interactive documentary OFFSHORE, which will be followed by a panel discussion featuring local artists Tom Pazderka and Ethan Turpin, who will discuss the role of art in environmental activism.
